Spring 2026 Class Registration Opens This Fall
Classes Begin in January 2026

INSIDE MISD includes eight sessions, and classes will be available to new participants during the spring semester of the 2025-26 school year. A portion of the classes will take place in the evening at 6:00 p.m. and some will be held in the morning at 8:30 a.m.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to run a multi-million dollar organization, with nearly 1,400 employees serving over 11,400 of our community’s youngest stakeholders?

We aren’t talking about AT&T, American Airlines, or any other of the countless Fortune 500 companies calling the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex home. In fact, one of the largest employers in Ellis County isn’t a company at all. It is the Midlothian Independent School District, and the district wants to invite community members INSIDE (Inspiring Neighbors to Stay Informed of District Efforts) to get an in-depth and behind the scenes look at MISD operations. Community members get a unique perspective on how the district is inspiring excellence for students, teachers and staff, parents and the community.

INSIDE participants get to know the district’s leadership team, principals, teachers and students. Overall, the three goals of INSIDE MISD include:

  • Continuing to foster a single community philosophy
  • Acting as a conduit to the many neighborhoods MISD serves
  • Engaging the community in an open dialogue about challenges facing MISD and hearing different viewpoints on making decisions

Sessions will cover many topics.

To ensure we have space for all those interested in participating, will be asked to fill out an interest form. That form will be available in the fall of 2025. INSIDE MISD is offered to all Midlothian ISD residents who have not joined previous INSIDE sessions. There is no cost to participate. A sample of the session are below in the Fall 2024 series.
