Here are just a few resources and websites you can research for scholarships, grants, and other financial aid avenues. Remember, look at websites of specific colleges/universities/trade schools/ and businesses because they may have their own financial aid opportunities. 

COLLEGE BOARD SCHOLARSHIPS

The College Board partners with scholarship providers connected to the SAT®, PSAT/NMSQT®, and PSAT™ 10. Through these partners, students can access over $245 million in scholarship awards. Find out more about scholarships.

The College Board has launched a new scholarship program with $5 million of scholarships each year, beginning with the class of 2020. To learn more, visit the College Board website here. 
 

MILITARY SCHOLARSHIPS:

FEDERAL STUDENT AID RESOURCES: 

U.S. Department of Education has a Federal Student Aid website with information about preparing for college, types of aid and eligibility, the FAFSA process, and other resources. Check with your college for specific FAFSA deadlines and other financial assistance programs. Remember to fill the FAFSA out as soon as possible.
 

TRADE SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS

Plan on attending a Trade School after high school? Visit Imagine America's website to view a short list of Texas trade schools participating in their scholarship program.

Trade certifications from these schools include areas of study like automotive technology, diesel technology, massage therapy, HVAC, Welding, and more.
